Litigation Associate – Southern California

The Position:
We are seeking a Litigation Associate to join our talented legal team in San Diego, CA. This role offers a remote work model. (Remote position, however, must live within driving distance to the local office as occasional onsite work may be required.) You will be integral to our civil litigation defense efforts, managing various aspects of case management and client representation: drafting and filing motions, preparing for and attending court trials, conducting depositions and providing legal counsel to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file motions, pleadings and discovery.
- Represent clients in trial, arbitrations, depositions and mediations.
- Update clients and/or their insurers.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients.
- Manage day-to-day litigation tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior CA Civil Litigation experience required.
- Proven track record of drafting and arguing motions.
- Ability to effectively navigate the court system.
- Skilled in conducting depositions and witness examinations.
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Active member of the California State Bar.
- Experience in construction or casualty claims a plus.

The anticipated compensation for this role falls between $130,000 and $150,000 annually. While we expect to offer a salary within this range, the final figure will be determined based on several factors, including the selected candidate's years of experience, expertise and background .
