Job Description

Better Medicine Today is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant to join our team in Kingwood, TX.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to adult patients, including chronic disease management and preventive care.
  • Conduct annual well-woman exams, including IUD and Nexplanon placements.
  • Perform skin biopsies, joint injections, and other procedural skills as required.
  • Collaborate with a team of physicians and mid-level providers to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Utilize telehealth services to reach and engage with patients effectively.
  • Participate in clinical trials and academic opportunities, if interested.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including training and CME opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), or Physician Assistant
  • Experience in Value-Based Care (VBC), coding, and billing is preferred, but training will be provided.
  • New graduates are welcome given board exams and licensing are completed; a supportive training program is available.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience with womens health and adult patient populations is a plus.
Practice Details:
  • Patient Demographics: Primarily adults, including some middle school-aged patients and geriatric populations.
  • Common Pathologies: Chronic disease management, well-woman exams, and some psychiatric care.
  • Support Staff: 1:1 Medical Assistant support and dedicated administrative staff.
  • Average Patient Volume: 16-17 patients per day with scheduled admin time.
  • Call Coverage: Minimal call responsibilities; primarily practice phone coverage.
