Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to oversee all aspects of our revenue cycle operations. The Revenue Cycle Manager will be responsible for optimizing revenue generation, streamlining billing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance, revenue cycle management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing and Claims Management:

• Manage & standardize the billing process, including claim submission, follow-up, and resolution of denials.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to third-party payers.
• Monitor claim status and address any issues to expedite reimbursement.

Revenue Optimization:

• Analyze revenue cycle metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue capture and minimize revenue leakage.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to streamline processes and enhance revenue cycle performance.

Compliance and Regulations:

• Stay current with healthcare regulations, payer policies, and billing guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory requirements.
• Implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance and minimize risks.

Staff Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of revenue cycle staff, including billing specialists and coders.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure staff productivity and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to revenue cycle performance.
• Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management in a healthcare setting.
• Coding certification required (CCS, CCA, RHIT, or RHIA)
• Strong knowledge of healthcare billing processes, coding systems, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using revenue cycle management software and electronic health records (EHR).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Type: Direct Hire - Full Time Opportunity

Compensation: Starting at $90k/yr - increasing with experience

Relocation: up to $5K pending eligibility
