- Building comfortable relationships with the existing customer base and employees, ensuring trust and continuity during the leadership transition.
- Plugging into the business plan and goals, working closely with the CEO to achieve these objectives. The business plan is focused on steady, strategic growth and maintaining a strong trajectory based on solid project performance.
THE ROLE
The day-to-day role for this position will include the following tasks:
- Overseeing business operations, initially reporting to the President and transitioning to reporting to the CEO of the parent company.
- Full P&L responsibility with regular performance reporting to the parent company.
- Driving growth by identifying new opportunities with support from the parent company, and supporting estimating and design/build engineering to put together winning proposals.
- Managing teams across estimating, engineering, procurement, project management, and service divisions.
- Maintaining and enhancing customer, contractor, and supplier relationships.
- Supporting team development and recommending process improvements.
- Collaborating with the parent company to execute the business growth plan.

YOUR BACKGROUND
The successful individual will be able to demonstrate experience in the following:
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial HVAC, with expertise in sales, project management, and operations.
- Strong acumen in estimating and designing HVAC systems.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in general management, sales management, or operations management roles.
- Familiarity with various HVAC systems such as VRF systems, boilers, and rooftop units.
- Demonstrated ability to manage profitable projects and support team growth in a structured environment.
- Positive leadership style and a supportive approach to developing people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Team player with the ability to interact positively and professionally with employees, suppliers, contractors, customers, and senior management
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering, or project management is preferred.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
Basic Salary: $150,000 - $200,000
Bonus Package: Will be discussed with the candidate
