Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Field Supervisor will be responsible for the management of a team of Field Technicians and monitoring telecommunication installation activities. The Field Supervisor will train new team members and existing Field Technicians on updates to processes and procedures in their region. This position is based in Mississauga, ON with the expectation of travel to surrounding areas.
What You'll Do Here:
Ensure the Health & Safety of themselves, their team and all customers in an environmentally friendly manner
Monitor and lead all field performance requirements to meet or exceed established Installation and Service benchmarks
Ensure all Technicians comply with uniform and safety policies
Present training courses to new employees or new process updates to the team
Execute quality of work inspections and coach technicians on quality installations
Act as the liaison between Field Technicians, Operations Support, and end users of customers of a contractual obligation
Conduct field visits with technicians as required
Complete all required documentation for Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Vehicle Maintenance purposes
Ensure all tools and equipment are inspected on a regular basis and are kept in good working condition
Assist Field Manager with customer issues, inquiries and resolution
Support telecommunication installation activities
Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging
Other duties as may be required
What You Bring to the Team:
Excellent Customer Service skills, both internally and externally
Technically inclined and have a desire to learn
Demonstrated leadership skills
Installation and repair experience in TV, Phone and Internet as well Fiber is an asset but not required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organization & time management skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Be a champion of inclusion and diversity
Must be willing to travel as required and provide a clear drivers abstract on an annual basis
Successfully complete a criminal background check
The expected pay range for this position is $28.00 to $32.00/hour
