Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/16/2024 Duration: 28 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Duration: 6-12 MONTH CONTRACT-TO-HIRE (open to contract travelers) A healthcare client in San Diego, CA is looking for a CT Technologist to join their team The CT Tech collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality imaging services. This role supports the Radiologist by assisting in both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Additionally, the technologist is responsible for processing and transmitting images to the PACS system. The schedule will be 5x8s with both day/night shift availability. Qualifications: 1. One year of experience in acute clinical radiology. 2. Familiarity with both mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment. 3. In-depth knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology. 4. Must possess a valid radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as mandated by the state. 5. CT ARRT Certification is mandatory. 6. Must maintain Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification from the AHA upon hire. 7. Proficient in computer skills. 8. An Individual who is a dual rad tech/CT tech is preferred.
