Akkodis is seeking a Process Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Carlsbad, CA . You will be responsible for leading and executing projects related to process optimization, validations, and updates to standard operating procedures while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Process Engineer job responsibilities include: Optimizing manufacturing methods and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Developing, updating, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Leading and executing validation projects to ensure process reliability and compliance. Analyzing process data to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions. Supporting equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance. Applying Lean Manufacturing tools like FMEA and formalized problem-solving for continuous improvement. Streamlining processes with a focus on reducing waste, enhancing safety, and minimizing costs. Experience with Process Capability Analysis, Minitab, or JMP Statistical Knowledge. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. 1 or more years of experience as a Process Engineer or similar role. Experience with Lean Manufacturing Tools such as Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and formalized problem-solving. Experience in a highly regulated environment, such as medical devices.
