*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. *Duties*
* Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
* Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
* Help patients with mobility and physical activities to enhance their quality of life.
* Maintain accurate medical records using systems like Cerner.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
* Assist in the administration of medications as directed by nursing staff.
* Ensure cleanliness and safety in patient environments, adhering to infection control protocols.
* Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
* Participate in training sessions and educational programs to enhance skills in medical-surgical care or home community care.
*Requirements*
* Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent experience in a healthcare setting.
* Experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred but not mandatory.
* Knowledge of basic life support techniques is essential.
* Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Cerner is a plus.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, particularly in teaching hospitals or operating rooms (OR).
