Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety. Responsibilities Perform various tasks involving the operation of radiographic equipment and other devices. Calculate appropriate exposure factors and evaluate images for diagnostic quality. Assist Radiologists and other health care practitioners with invasive procedures. Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during the exam. Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with regulations and ensure patient/employee safety. Evaluate images for technical quality exposure and transmit them to PACS. Qualifications Job Requirements: Technical or Associate’s radiography degree Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment Active BLS certification Preferred Job Requirements: One year of radiology experience
