ABOUT THE ROLE Uses a variety of tools and equipment to support production operations, such as shovels, brooms, bobcats, forklifts, levels, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers and water spraying equipment.Aggregate plant skilled labor welder involves the installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of Portable Crushing Equipment, Conveyors, industrial machinery. Safety: - Promotes a positive safety culture through leadership by example; performs all work activities following all relevant safety policies/procedures ensuring alignment with the company's vision and critical success factors. Technical Skills: - Knowledge of Welding, Fabricating, Mechanical skills, Knowledge of Mining Equipment and asset Operations: - Maintenance Welders install, align, dismantle and move Portable Crushing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, conveyors, generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools. - Responsible to install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controls. - Will be responsible to Maintain and Complete welding repairs to Crushing equipment. Operator Functions: - Maintenance Welders will position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery. - Also operate machine tools such as drills and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery. Troubleshooting: - Maintenance Welders inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions. Maintenance: - Maintenance Welders adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts. - Also are responsible to clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING - Uses shovels or mechanical equipment to remove excess material from beneath the plant.
- Loads and delivers materials.
- Performs light maintenance
- Lubricates parts.
- Ensures compliance to all health and safety, environmental, compliance and human resources policies and procedures.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - Education: High School diploma/GED Work Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience performing similar responsibilities in a construction/mining/manufacturing environment.

- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
