Responsible for the application and validation of our chemical processes, which are performed on precision machined parts in a manner consistent and in compliance to Government, Customer, In-house, and NADCAP requirements and/or Specifications.
- Work with and around various chemical treatment processes, including but not limited to the following: i.e. chromate conversion coating, vacuum impregnation, anodize, and passivation
- Responsible for accuracy of own work
- Use inspection gauges and equipment to check work
- Must be able to wear personal safety gear as required to meet OSHA regulations, ie., goggles, gloves, back belt, apron, and respirator when required
- Basic blueprint reading and mil spec knowledge
- Fill out required regulated paperwork and required documentation

Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Min. 2 yrs. experience with chromate and chemicals, anodize, passivate, impregnation
- Basic knowledge of hazardous materials handling
- Proper chemical safety and handling
- Tolerance to a periodically, slightly corrosive environment
- Physical tolerance to metal oxides and hydroxides
