Join us and contribute to Sedgwick being a great place to work.nnGreat Place to Work®nnMost Loved Workplace®nnForbes Best-in-State EmployernnUnemployment CoordinatornnPRIMARY PURPOSE: To analyze mid-level unemployment claims to determine benefits due; and to ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices.nnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESnnAdjusts medium to large volume clients' unemployment claims by investigating and gathering information to assist employer in determining their position on the claim; manages claims through well-developed action plans to an appropriate and timely resolution.nnWorks to move claim toward appropriate claim closure which may include appeal to hearing or Board of Review.nnRepresents Company at administrative unemployment compensation hearings as needed.nnSupports other claims staff with larger or more complex claims as necessary.nnProcesses unemployment claims reviewing compensability and benefits due; consults with clients to determine course of action, and files necessary documentation with state agency.nnMonitors and reviews benefits due and payment calculations ensuring accuracy.nnCommunicates claim action/processing with appropriate parties including, but not limited to: client and state agency.nnEnsures claims files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.nnMaintains professional client relationships.nnADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESnnPerforms other duties as assigned.nnSupports the organization's quality program(s).nnQUALIFICATIONSnnEducation & LicensingnnHigh School diploma or GED required. Licenses as required.nnExperiencennTwo (2) years claims management or related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
