You’ll make a positive impact on the lives of older adults every day. The Maintenance Department Coordinator performs varied clerical and administrative duties for the maintenance department. This position receives and screens, redirects and/or all handles resident calls. The Maintenance Department Coordinator is responsible for receiving and entering work requests, coordinating the purchase of supplies and/or service, sending invoices for payment, preparing and coordinating reports, and other correspondence as needed. The Maintenance Department Coordinator is required to:
- Associates degree or two years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Maintain confidentiality of assignments and work well under pressure of deadlines;
- Exhibit flexibility in work schedules and the ability to multitask for several individuals;
- Be able to effectively interact with all visitors, residents, and staff;
- Be proficient withMicrosoft Office applicationsand the operation of multi-line telephones and other basic office equipment.
