JOB TITLE: Systems Operator B
REPORT TO : Shift Supervisor with directions from a Team Leader
SHIFT NIGHTS/HOURS: 2nd Shift position: (1:00 p.m.- 9:00 pm.) Monday - Friday over a course of 5 days (40+ hours) per week. Some overtime may be required throughout the week and some Saturday Evenings.
STARTING PAY: $21.12 ($1.00 shift premium) with the ability to earn more.

We are currently seeking a Systems Operator B to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems. As a Systems Operator B, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our company's manufacturing.
Systems Operators B will be responsible for setting the press up, selecting dies, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting problems. What You Will Be Responsible For: - Responsible for the safe and efficient running of the extrusion press
- Promptly communicates to supervisor any issues concerning health, safety, quality, and efficiencies
- Responsible for the in-process inspection/verification of parts during extrusion
- Monitor and maintain good physical condition of extrusion press and handling equipment
- Meet the quality standards required by customer specifications
- Responsible for inspecting parts after the stretching operation
- Follow company procedures and policies
- Responsible to ensure right alloys are running for correct process
- Read and understand shop orders
- Read and understand calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
- Read and understand prints
- Run the press and meet all press requirements
- Must be able to read a go- and no-go gauge to check material after it has been aged
- Must fill out check sheets for any moving equipment before it is used
- Operate an electric cart and overhead crane
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or team leader
Work Environment/ Physical Demands: - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
- The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25- 75 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and is not a climatized building
What You Will Need: - HS Diploma/GED preferred
- Must be able to pass a skills-based test
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively: self-motivated: self-starter
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- A minimum of three (3) months' related experience and/or training, preferred, but willing to train the right individuals
- Must be able to pass company background check and drug screen.
