Treatment is provided in the context of a clinical team, supervised by the staff psychiatrist. STATUS: Full Time DEPARTMENT: Chemical Dependency SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM LOCATION: 1565 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14624 ATTRIBUTES Associates, Bachelors, or Master’s Degree in Human service field required C ASAC, OASAS QHP required, LMHC-P (Permit) or CASAC-T permitted with the condition that full certification is obtained within 24 months Completion of a clinical internship in chemical dependency or at least one (1) year of work experience in chemical dependency Compassionate, understanding and thoughtful Extremely organized with an attention to detail RESPONSIBILITIES Assessment. Provide initial and ongoing assessment for clients in order to determine diagnosis and appropriate level of care Counseling. Provide individual, family and group counseling, which engages and motivates clients throughout treatment Planning. Develop treatment plans that are individualized and culturally sensitive Education & Communication. Communicate with other care providers and referral sources to increase understanding of client problems and assets; participate in professional supervision and education that supports continuous improvement of client care EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: QHP - Qualified Health Professional - NYS Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. PAY RANGE: $55,500.00 - $70,000.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14626 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
