Team Members will assist in front of house or back of house operations. Depending on experience and interest, you may be trained to be a cashier or a cook on our team. We love to cross train our team members to broaden their skills and help them advance in our company. You will do things like assist a guest with placing an order, help with preparation of food, or assist with keeping the restaurant clean.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The following requirements must be met in order to qualify for this position:
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Must be eligible to legally work in the United States.
- You must be productive in our store and work with a focus to deliver excellent work.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The individual in these roles is expected to engage in the following work-related activities and complete all training requirements: Zaxby’s University on-line and shoulder to shoulder ‘hands on’ training.
- Zaxby’s Front Of House and/or Back Of House Development Plan
- Hands on station training
- Provide friendly, authentic and enthusiastic service to guests and your team.
- Promptly greet guests as they enter the store, out in the dining room, and when they leave.
- Assist with food preparation.
- Stay current with Zaxby’s food promotions.
- Explain menu items, answer guest questions, and suggest new or other food items to try.
- Enthusiastically and professionally represent the Zaxby’s brand.
- Enter guest order accurately.
- Deliver accurate orders to the guest.
- Handle cash and credit card payments accurately, verify till count, and record money totals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Clean regularly: Dining room, Parking Lot, Bathrooms, counters, and wall space.
- Maintain the store equipment and notify management when there are maintenance needs.
- Stock and restock paper goods, condiments, service ware, beverages, and food items.
- Other work as assigned: including working outside taking guest orders and cleaning.
CAPABILITIES REQUIREMENT
- Stand for long period of time, walk, and stoop down.
- Occasionally stoop, bend down, crouch, or climb a ladder.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds.
- Continuous use of hands, wrists, and arms to grasp and fine manipulation.
- Communicate proficiently and professionally through speech, reading, and writing.
- Work in an environment that features HOT and COLD temperature variations and exposure to allergens.
- Maintain effective audio and visual perception and judgment to observe and respond to matters pertaining to store operations, guest matters, and employee matters.
