This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our Powder Coat Paint Line, focusing on safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities:
  • Safety Leadership: Foster a strong safety culture by adhering to all safety policies, conducting safety tours, and encouraging near-miss/accident reporting.
  • Team Management: Lead a flexible, cross-trained workforce to meet production needs, collaborating with the Production Trainer to implement and track training plans.
  • Continuous Improvement: Use lean manufacturing tools (5S, one-piece flow, standard work, etc.) to drive improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Financial Management: Manage labor/material variances, factory burden, and overtime while contributing to budget and capital expenditure planning.
  • Performance Management: Conduct annual performance reviews, track discipline, and promote a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience combined with 5+ years in manufacturing.
  • Associate's degree in Production Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency in ISO 9001-2015 and lean manufacturing principles.
  • High degree of computer literacy (Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
  • Organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
