Description
The HR Coordinator partners with Operations and the HR Team to ensure successful and compliant onboarding of new employees, as well as other compliance and HR related tasks.
Salary Range: $22 - $25/hour

What you'll do:
- Responsible for prequalification of applicants for hire to include rehire approvals and pre-employment screenings.
- Responsible for all new hire, rehire, and post-hire entry data input and administrative process.
- Responsible for new hire data integrity in HRIS (UKG) system.
- Responsible for administration of onboarding process for new employees.
- Supports our Substance Abuse Program
- Supports Drug and Alcohol program (follow up, random testing, reasonable suspicion testing).
- Ensures compliance with state, federal, and utility requirements/regulations, including but not limited to; eligibility to work in the United States documentation and specific utility reporting.
- Document distribution of information to other departments (new hire documents).
- Maintains accurate employment-related data in electronic and/or written form.
- Responsible for administering, processing, and monitoring background checking and related processing.
- Utilizes human resource information system tools for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding processes.
- Communicates effectively in a multi-cultural, diverse environment.
- Completes a high volume of human resource-related transactions daily.
- Assist HR Specialists in updating recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Assists with unemployment.
- Field support calls from hiring managers for recruiting and onboarding.
You'll need:
- High School diploma or Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- One to three years experience in an HR department, Talent Acquisition experience preferred.
- Proficient with standard office equipment i.e. computer, phones, scanner, fax and copier.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Effective listening skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational/time management skills
