The company is seeking a
Transfer Station Manager to oversee day to day operations. Ideal candidate will possess strong people skills and have the ability to deal with the employees on site, local government, as well as the general public. The candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work in high pressure situations.
Some key functions of the position include but are not limited to:
- Manage staff of approximately 40 people that includes administrators, operators, mechanics, and general labor.
- Proficient computer skills
- Manage truck flow on site.
- Oversee construction projects.
- Represent landfill to general public at meetings and events.
- Interact with Maintenance Manager to ensure landfill equipment is being properly maintained.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and enforced
