Transformer Winder Summary:
Provide winding support to the assembly operation. Interpret and understand
manufacturing instructions and manufacturing processes. Demonstrate proficiency in
loading raw material onto appropriate winding machine and winding coils to
specifications.
Southwest Electric Co. is looking for 5 Transformer Winders. We are adding to our TEAM!
1st Shift: 56 hours / 6 days per week. Monday- Thursday 6am to 4pm, Friday and Saturday 6am to 2:30 pm.
3rd Shift: 56 hours /6 days per week. Sunday- Wednesday 7pm- 5:30am, Thursday and Friday 9pm to 5:30 am.
Transformer Winder Summary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be able to read tape measure and mics.
- Must be able to read and understand the winding data.
- Performs all necessary work to take data and make calculations for winding all sizes and types of transformer coils.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the operation of all coil winding equipment.
- Demonstrates high level of proficiency in both quality and quantity of coils produced.
- Read, verify and understand bill of material (BOM)
- Load raw materials per data and set placement to begin the winding process
- Brazing and cold-welding processes.
- Read and understand micrometers from .001 to .075
- Completes Process Control Records.
- Ability to safely operate crane and pallet jack.
- Attention to small details is a must.
- Able to work independently of others and have their own tools.
- Regularly attends work as scheduled.
- Follows safety rules and/or guidelines while performing daily work.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, divide, in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
