Contract Assignment Job Description of the Electrician: Individual is experienced performing Electrician activities listed below on their own with little to no guidance and/or assistance from Skilled Trades Leader in a machine tool manufacturing environment.
Electrician Activities: - Wire machinery from drawings and bill of material
- Wire panels
- Install communication blocks
- Wire Ethernet
- Wire auxiliary power
- Wire robots
- Wire safety circuits
- Wire 480V
- Tie in Tools/Final dress of tools to controls
- Install temporary power
- Bend and install conduit
- Prepare tool with I/O block, Device Net and duct work
- Verify tags, tag units, and cords
- Run cords and dress tool per customer requirements
- Ability to drill, tap, and ream holes
- Use of hand saw, drill press, and grinders
Requirements of the Electrician position: - Must be able to provide proven work history
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to work independently with little-to-no instruction/supervision
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
