Summary
The goal of the Warehouse Technician is to execute the day-to-day operations of Under Canvas' warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of products to the company's portfolio of guest sites. Through a deep understanding of Warehouse processes & safety protocols, clear communication & collaboration, strong follow-through on commitments, and a positive attitude, the Warehouse Technician ensures the success of the Warehouse team and the broader company.
The role is cross-functional, requiring collaboration with other Supply Chain team members and other external and internal stakeholders across Under Canvas' business. The Warehouse Technician cultivates collaborative relationships across the business, is a positive team player, and addresses changing priorities with a can-do attitude.
This is an hourly, year-round position based at our Corporate-Belgrade location.
Responsibilities
- Execute the day-to-day operations of the Warehouse & Logistics team while contributing to the positive, collaborative, agile, safe, and productive work culture.
- Perform all inbound and outbound delivery activities, including a strong execution and deep understanding of Purchase Order and Sales Order processes.
- Package & store all merchandise and product in a manner consistent with safety for all involved and ensuring successful arrival at end destination.
- Effectively and efficiently fulfill all the scheduled Sales Order & Work Order activity.
- Welcome, unload, and off-load delivery trucks in a punctual manner.
- Operate equipment safely including fleet of trucks and forklifts.
- Adhere to sound inventory accuracy processes and action-oriented metrics to ensure high inventory accuracy.
- Consistent adherence to key product delivery timelines.
- Cultivate positive working relationships with leaders in Hospitality Operations, Development, Facilities, Manufacturing, Inventory Planning, and other external stakeholders.
- Address emerging issues with positive attitude and collaborative approach.
- Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior warehouse and inventory system experience
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- High motivated self-starter with strong integrity
- Extremely conscientious of details and timeliness
- Strong 'people skills' including the ability to effectively oversee the work of other team members as well as collaborate with our sales team and vendors
- Ability to deliver goods with the use of truck and trailer (i.e., gooseneck, bumper pull)
- Solid computer skills
Additional Information
- This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, when applicable.
- This position requires that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 45lbs independently.
- Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking, standing, bending, twisting, lifting, and maneuvering in an outdoor environment on uneven surfaces.

- Work on weekends and holidays as needed
- This position is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of a background check and/or motor vehicle records check, if requested by Under Canvas.
