Must have strong experience in L/D, newborn care and post-partum - Start Date: ASAP - Certificates required o BLS o ACLS o PALS or ENPC o FHM o STABLE o NRP - EMR o Meditech - Job Description: o OPS NST, weight and bili checks o Labor and Delivery ? 37 weeks and above ? FHM ? Facilitating the labor process ? CS support • Elective • Emergent ? Assist with version attempt o Breast feeding support ? Teaching ? SNS o Post-partum care o OB patient admission and discharge o Epidural monitoring/management o Transfer of high risk patients to tertiary care for maternal care or neonates resuscitated who need higher levels of care o Level 1 nursery care - Will float heavily to MS unit: o Medical/Surgical patient care, age range pediatrics to geriatrics ? Typical diagnoses • AKI • CHF • COPD • PNA • Angina • Mood disorders • Neuromuscular disorders • Seizure disorders • Substance withdrawal • Interpretation of telemetry and basic arrythmias • Post-operative care o Ortho ?
