The American Nurses Associations (ANA) scope and standards of practice are exemplified within the position description. The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide nursing care for the patient. He/she assumes responsibility and accountability for his/her individual actions, duties and outcomes performed. The Registered Nurse may assist with nursing duties on any of the inpatient units at BHS. Education and/or Experience Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required. Certification in specialty preferred/Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing Membership in a professional organization preferred. Work Schedule Varied Shifts- 8/12 hr shifts; 48hrs/2wks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $32.00 - $46.50 per hour What Makes Avera Special?
