Job Summary: The primary focus of this position is to book OTR(Over The Road) freight and to ensure the truck loads are successfully picked-up and delivered on time ensuring the drivers are following all safety and DOT regulations (BOL's, Log books, etc). This role will supervise the team of drivers and assign their daily duties.
Responsibilities; - Promotes safety first for all areas of dispatch. Ensures drivers are following all safety policies and procedures
- Supervises OTR drivers
- Booking freight
- Scheduling and assigning drivers and vehicles to convey cargo throughout the United States
- Reviews next day/week deliveries and pick-ups
- Notifies drivers of daily assignments
- Tracks drivers for compliance to company procedures
- Coordinate tractor/trailer maintenance cycles
- Ensures Drivers have collected all appropriate documentation and signatures related to delivery/pick-up
- Answers customer questions about delivery/pick-up
- Maintains daily log files and preventative maintenance files and records the information into the appropriate systems. Ensures all daily/weekly/monthly paperwork is completed, recorded and filed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification; - At least 1 year of experience in logistics, trucking or related field
- Knowledge in DOT regulation preferred
- Computer, Smartphone savvy
- MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- English/Korean speaker
- GPS and tracking software
Type : Full Time Salary: Hourly $21 ~ $25 DOE Regular PTO, Health Insurance (65%) w/ 90 days probation
