Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils through manual and machine cleaning methods.
Major areas of responsibility:
• Additionally, dishwashers are expected to keep the dishwashing area clean and safe.
• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Sweep or mop floors.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean garbage cans with water and soap.
• Store supplies.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, or refrigerators.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Clean dish machine - Break down at the end of the night.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as requested.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach to coworkers and customers.
