Job Summary This 8-12 week summer internship provides a comprehensive introduction to front desk operations at a large property. As a Front Desk Intern, you will work closely with the front office team, learning essential skills such as guest check-in and check-out procedures, handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll be trained on property management systems and have the opportunity to shadow other hotel departments to gain a broader understanding of how the front desk integrates with the overall guest experience and hotel operations. This internship is ideal for those interested in pursuing a career in hospitality or hotel management.
Requirements
Education & Experience - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in hospitality management or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with computer systems and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
