DescriptionnnThis position is responsible for moving trailers in and out of specific locations using a yard goat.nnSupervisory Responsibilities:nnN/AnnDuties/Responsibilities:nnTransport/move trailers to and from yard location.nnMaintain accurate reports and logs.nnMaintain a clean a safe work environment.nnMust maintain a safe driving record.nnEnsuring compliance with applicable DOT, Company, State, and Federal policies/laws regarding traffic, safety, hours worked, and drugs and alcohol.nnOther duties as assigned.nnRequired Skills/Abilities:nnExcellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.nnStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills.nnMust have excellent customer service skills, phone skills, and basic computer knowledge.nnMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment.nnJob Requirements:nnMust be able to complete a background check, including FBI criminal history, employment background, and pre-employment drug test.nnMust be at least 18 years of age.nnMust be a U.S. citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.nnMust possess a valid driver’s license.nnValid Class A CDL.nnDriving record with no more than 6 points.nnDrivers must have the ability to demonstrate the following:nn100-foot straight line backingnnDriver-side back into a docknnStraight-back into a DocknnBlind-Side back into a DocknnProper coupling & uncoupling of the trailernnProper Boom, and 5th wheel operationnnProper movement of trailer tandemsnnCompensation:nnThe pay rate listed on this post, is what the company reasonably expects to pay for this position. However, individual compensation may vary based on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, education, and experience.nnEducation & Experience:nnA minimum of one year of experience driving large or heavy trucks and or trailers preferred.nnMust possess a high school diploma or equivalent.nnPhysical Requirements:nnMust be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs at a time.nnProlonged periods sitting in a trailer cab for long periods of time.
