We currently have an amazing opportunity for a
Certified Special Education Teacher to work in a supervisory role providing clinical and educational oversight for a Partner Program classroom for students with autism and related disabilities based in a public school. The Partner Program model has been implemented in partnership with the school district and is grounded in the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Responsibilities : - Leadership and supervision for a Partner Program Classroom with up to 7 learners and para-educators.
- Special education case management for learners in the classroom
- Leadership, training, and coaching for the para-educators in the classroom
- Collaborate with general education teachers to provide quality inclusion opportunities for the learners in the classroom
- Work cooperatively with school personnel (principal, general Ed., and special Ed. staff)
- Work closely with families to offer continuous support

Qualifications: - Master's Degree preferred
- State license in special education depending on location of role (or out of state license eligible for reciprocity)
- Experience and proficiency in the application of the principles of ABA
- Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills and proven leadership ability with prior supervisory experience are preferred.
- Driver's license or access to reliable transportation
