As a Home Health Aide / Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:
n
n- Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
n- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
n- Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
n- Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
n- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
n- Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
n
n
A few must-haves for Home Health Aides / Caregivers:
n
n- 1 Year of experience in providing hands on personal care
n- or Certificate of training (CNA/HHA/STNA)
n- Valid Ohio driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
n- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
