Medical Transport Systems
We are seeking reliable and compassionate School Van Drivers and Paratransit Drivers to transport special needs and handicapped students to and from school. These positions ensure the safety and comfort of students during their commute, adhering to all safety protocols and providing assistance as needed.
Pay Rate & Benefits:
- $18 - $19 per hour
- Additional Compensation: $250 Performance Bonus every two weeks
- Payment: Paid weekly via direct deposit

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety is our top priority and Zero tolerance for distracted driving.
- Safely operate a school van or paratransit vehicle.
- Assist students with special needs, including those in wheelchairs or with mobility challenges, in boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Follow designated routes and schedules for timely pickups and drop-offs.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers, using safety equipment and securing students when necessary.
- Maintain clear communication with school staff, parents, and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and report any issues for repair or maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record within the past 3 years.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, Child Abuse History Clearance and any required certifications per our School Districts
Shifts
- Monday - Friday (Only) Day Time
- Must Be Available to Work between 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No Night / No Weekends or Major Holidays
- Shifts: Drivers will work two Shifts in per day (Split Shift/ Swing Shift)
- AM Shift: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- PM Shift: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- 6 - 8 Hours Per Day / 30 - 40 Hour Work Week
- Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

For over 20 years, Medical Transport Systems has been providing transportation services to Bucks and Montgomery Counties and has been exclusively transporting special education students for the past seven years. The company currently has 80 employees that operate over 50 vehicles.
