Essential Job Functions:
- Perform maintenance on all vehicles, equipment, and facilities in accordance with established scheduled and procedures.
- Inspect all vehicles, equipment, and facilities for defects.
- Troubleshoot/Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs utilizing diagnostic aids and tools.
- Identifies materials and parts needed to repair vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
- Hoists, transports, and positions equipment as required using cranes, hoisting apparatus, and powered vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Other duties assigned
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills/Abilities: - High School Diploma
- 1-2 years of related experience
- Ability to work as a part of a team with co-workers of various skill levels.
- Ability to complete preventive maint., diagnose, and repair vehicles/equipment with gasoline and diesel engines.
- Knowledge and ability to trouble shoot and repair air brake systems and chassis components
- Knowledge of 12/24 volt electrical systems
- Hydraulic system knowledge and experience preferred
- Skilled in welding, cutting and rigging.
- Ability to work from elevated spaces (man lifts and crane baskets) in all weather conditions.
- Ability to operate all equipment on site
Pay: $25-$35 based on skill set and experience
