Description
Primary Purpose: To deliver rental equipment to customers, provide familiarization training, and pick up equipment. Essential Functions:
- Safe Transport: Load and unload rental equipment safely, ensuring timely delivery to customer job sites.
- Customer Communication: Maintain regular communication with customers regarding daily schedules for pickups and deliveries to enhance customer service.
- Policy Adherence: Inform customers about Admar policies regarding on-site representation during delivery and pickup, documenting equipment condition through photos.
- Training Provision: Conduct familiarization training for end users/operators to ensure compliance with Admar safety and liability insurance policies.
- Vehicle Inspection: Perform daily inspections of delivery vehicles and trailers, adhering to DOT regulations and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
- Regulatory Compliance: Follow all federal and local regulations regarding driving and load securement.
- Damage Reporting: Identify and report any damage to rental units during pickups.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep the assigned delivery vehicle and trailer clean, ensuring Admar logos are visible and in good condition.
- Continuous Learning: Seek training opportunities to enhance knowledge of equipment functions and features.
- Route Familiarity: Be knowledgeable about local roads and restrictions, providing feedback to dispatch for efficient routing.
- Equipment Knowledge: Understand the benefits, features, and safety aspects of the assigned delivery equipment.
- Certification Compliance: Maintain a valid medical card and AWP/PIT certifications.
- Documentation Compliance: Follow Admar policies for signatures during delivery and pickup, noting any damage.
- Daily Vehicle Maintenance: Check and fuel all vehicle fluids (DEF, oil, wiper fluid) daily.
- Incident Reporting: Report all accidents and issues to dispatch immediately, and contact authorities if necessary.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required.

Experience/Education: - 3 to 5 years of CDL A experience. A combination of education and experience may substitute for years of experience.
Physical Demands: - Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Work environment includes exposure to typical warehouse and office conditions, with potential exposure to cold, heat, noise, fumes, and dust.
- Specific vision requirements include close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and color differentiation.
Salary Description: - Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience.
- Work Schedule: Home every night; 40 to 60 hours per week, depending on the workload (local delivery).
- Training: Drivers will receive training on equipment operation upon starting.
