Position Details:

• Work schedule: Sunday night - Thursday night from 10:00pm to approximately 7:00am.

Position Purpose:

As a Linehaul Driver, you are vital to our operations by transporting empty trailers to our warehouses and delivering full trailers to designated locations. You will drive a tandem trailer or tractor-trailer on both intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safe and timely deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations while maintaining professional interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct all required safety checks (pre/post trip inspections) and ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Report safety issues and necessary repairs promptly.
• Adhere to all driving guidelines, and inspect trailers for secure freight.
• Maintain accurate route paperwork with your vehicle during dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers following a predetermined route schedule.
• Perform safe hook/unhook procedures and secure all equipment during transportation.
• Park and store tractor-trailers in designated areas while keeping all freight secure.
• Handle damaged goods and customer returns as needed and complete required paperwork.
• Unloading of equipment, materials, and waste as necessary.
• Record hours of service and log details following Federal DOT and company requirements.
• Keep work areas including the tractor and loading dock clean and organized.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL Class A license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Hold a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure one.
• Ability to hand-lift and utilize tools to move product cases/freight weighing between 60 to 90 pounds.
