Title: F-16 Maintenance SupervisornnLocation: United States-Arizona-TucsonnnJob Number: 16150nnSUMMARYnnThe F-16 Maintenance Supervisor plans and directs maintenance operations and ensures policy and procedures are followed to achieve established goals and objectives.nnESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESnnSupervise and assign program workloads as well as duties for entire shifts of workers performing aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modifications.nnMaintain knowledge of supply procedures, and Service Bulletins/Letters and Airworthiness Directives.nnMust be highly proficient in using technical data and drawings to locate part numbers and accomplish repairs.nnMust have knowledge of F-16 aircraft avionics and electrical systems.nnInspects, troubleshoots, repairs, overhauls and modifies aircraft systems and powerplants in accordance with established written procedures, specifications, and standards.nnCandidate must be knowledgeable in F-16 aircraft systems operation and maintenance to include landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, disassembly, reassembly, rigging and aircraft movement.nnMust be able to read and speak English. The below additional requirements apply to this position.nnMust be able to obtain and maintain a Secret ClearancennEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEnnMust meet one of the following requirements:nnA Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience in aircraft maintenancennAn Associate's degree plus 6 years of related experience in aircraft maintenancennHigh School Diploma plus 10 years of related experience in aircraft maintenancennAt least 10 years working F-16 aircraft experience with thorough understanding of Fighter Aircraft Systems and Flight Line Operations.nnMust have leadership experience in an F-16 aircraft maintenance environment.nnPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:nnMust be able to lift 50 pounds to waist level and 30 pounds to shoulder height.nnMust be able to lift and carry parts, tooling, and other awkward items sometimes weighing up to 50 lbs, including walking up and down stairs, aircraft maintenance stands, and platformsnnRequires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workdaynnMust be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.nn#LI-PI1 #LI-OnsitennAAR is an equal opportunity employer.
