We recycle more than 234,000 tons of plastic, paper, and metals from the waste stream.nnWIN Waste is currently looking for a skilled Compactor Repair Technician.nnJob Responsibilities:nnCompactor repair and diagnosis -on the road and in the shopnnPre trip and maintain service truck integrity -communicate defects to shop via dvir dailynnMust be safety conscious and follow all our procedures for lock out tag out - High risk for incidentnnMust have complete working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical components. Not limited to, but primarily, Self-Contained VIP, Mini Mac .nnRequirements:nnMinimum 1 year of proven experience in the fieldnnAbility to work an average of 45 hours a week. Monday-Friday and rotating SaturdaysnnMust have Knowledge of high voltage - 208v, 460/480v, & 120v (low)nnCertification for electric, or compactor repair CERT a major plusnnWelding/fabrication experience, a major plusnnMust have clean Driving license & DOT permit 26,000 and under.nnMust possess ability to weld mild steel, Stick (electrode) Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and also use oxygen acetylene torch.nnAbility to read electronic diagram, a plusnnWorking Conditions & Physical Effort:nnStrenuous physical work, to include heavy lifting, pushing, or pullingnnAbility to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignmentsnnAbility to lift up to 50 poundsnnAbility to maintain and supply own personal tools needed to perform essential dutiesnnThis position is a mobile position and shop.nnAt WIN Waste Innovations, each eligible employee receives a competitive total compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Short-Term Disability.
