SummarynnThe project manager will provide direction and coordination of a project. This includes all aspects of the project including performance, administration, documentation, safety, and customer contact.nnII. Major Responsibilities:nnPosition requirements and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:nnCommunicate with operations daily on a project to ensure projects are running smoothlynnKeep customers and insurance adjusters up to date on all project activities.nnAdhere to all company protocol, project and safety policies, accounting procedures, etc.nnAlso, responsible to ensure that the service quality is at the company's highest standardnnSetting budget on a project to ensure profitabilitynnPerform work within a given budget or communicate job from beginning to endnnProject Buy-OutsnnSet draw schedule w/Subs & Vendors, pull permits, initiate and follow through to ensure all necessary paperwork is in the project filennDevelop a Site Safety Plan to communicate and have followed by Field Supervisor and labornnBudgeting project to ensure profitabilitynnKeep client and adjuster informed to promote good customer servicennEnsure job files have proper-signed contracts and required forms depending on the type of jobnnProcess files on a timely basis to ensure accurate processing by the accounting departmentnnComplete/draft Project Management Reviews daily for job filennConduct Safety Toolbox meetingsnnParticipate in safety investigations to minimize risknnProvide feedback (positive or negative) to Operation and Production Managers regarding individual jobs as needednnKeep an open line of communication and constant networking with the adjuster, the insurance community, and any target business assignednnMaintain the highest of integrity to ensure the Cotton image is viewed in the most positive mannernnHiring of sub-contractors and suppliersnnDirection of daily activities on construction projectsnnMeeting the needs and request of the client and adjusternnConflict resolution with customersnnPerformance of operation staff and change of scopennUnderstanding of workflow procedures and systems.nnIII. Background Requirements:nnEducation:nnBachelor's degree or equivalent work experiencennExperience:nnHeavy reconstruction project knowledge REQUIREDnnOSHA 10 or 30-hour a plusnnKnowledge and Skills:nnUnderstanding of workflow procedures and systemsnnKnowledge of the insurance industry a plusnnMicrosoft Office applicationsnnProven organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsnnProven ability to build relationshipsnnGood driving recordnnMinimum of twenty-one (21) years of age and have a minimum of three (3) years of verifiable driving experience.nnNo more than 2 moving violation in the past 3 yearsnnNo repeat seat belt violationsnnNo high-speed moving violations in the past 3 yearsnnAbility to travel, both domestically and internationally as business needs arise REQUIREDnnDisclaimer:nnThis Job Description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent(s).
