PURPOSE AND SCOPE:nnIncumbent is responsible for the installation, assembly, refurbishment, modification and relocation of Fresenius Water Treatment equipment, commissioning of water pretreatment plants.nnPRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:nnDeveloping professional expertise; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.nnNormally receives general work instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.nnWorks on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situation or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.nnBuilds productive working relationships.nnMay provide assistance to junior level staff with general tasks that require a better understanding of functions, as directed by immediate supervisor.nnMay refer to senior level staff for assistance with higher level problems that may arise.nnEscalates issues to supervisor/manager for resolution, as deemed necessary.nnExecution of installations according to the installation guideline and planning of the project management with subsequent commissioning of all components in the water pre-treatment (e.g. softener, activated carbon filter, Birm and nitrate filter).nnDepending on the level of training, commissioning of Vivonic water treatment and ancillary equipment.nnLogging of all installation and commissioning measures by means of service reports and protocols.nnCreation and maintenance of the necessary device documentation at the operator's sitennDisposition of installation materials for the assigned area of responsibilitynnHandling and use of test and measuring equipment in accordance with test equipment management.nnMaintaining and expanding customer presence in the assigned area of responsibilitynnImplementation of instructed quality assurance measuresnnCompliance with hygiene, accident prevention and occupational health and safety regulations as well as all applicable regulatory requirementsnnAdherence to the applicable compliance guidelinesnnActing independently within the scope of the assigned activity (construction site manager)nnAdherence to the prescribed quality guidelines and procedural instructionsnnSupport when bottlenecks or emergency situations require it, during construction meetings, warehouse management, on behalf of the project manager.nnReplacement of other installation technicians in case of planned or unplanned absence, also in other areasnnDetermination of installation-relevant dimensionsnnCompilation and request of the required installation material for the projectsnnCoordination of supplements in water pretreatmentnnCoordination of optimizations/adjustments of water pre-treatment.nnLogging of all installation measures by means of a service report.nnLogging of all commissioning measures by means of service reports and protocols.nnCreation and maintenance of the necessary device documentation at the customer's site (protocols according to installation guideline)nnOptimization of the customer's room layout.nnInterface regularly with customers, suppliers, third party service providers, and logistics.nnReview and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.nnAssist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.nnOther duties as assigned.nnAdditional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations.
