The position will be assigned stops to deliver foodservice products with a high level of service to customers. One year multi-stop delivery experience required or six month local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience. Must meet the medical requirements of the Department of Transportation (DOT). Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.nnEssential Job Functions:nn• Lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.nn• Load and unload the vehicle for multi-stop deliveries.nn• Transport deliveries by driving assigned vehicles.nn• Use hand truck to move product from the delivery vehicle into the customer location including going up and down stairs with product as necessary.nn• Accurately record delivery information including operating a hand scanner and all company required documentation.nn• Responsible for the proper documentation and disposition for any return product.nn• Communicate delivery- customer issues to proper authority (i.e., Customer Service, Territory Manager, Transportation Supervisor, etc.).nn• Deliver product to each of the designated stops following the stop sequence provided for the day.nn• Unload product safely and stage product in the space(s) designated by customer.nn• Check invoice for complete delivery. No more than two convictions in the past two-year period for traffic violations, no DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years. Must be able to pass DOT physical.nnOne year multi-stop delivery experience required or 6 month local delivery experience and/or foodservice industry experience.
