Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Charge Nurse to join our 2023 5-star deficiency-free survey team with experience in behavior management and traumatic brain injury care. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will provide specialized care to patients with neurological conditions, focusing on behavior management and support.nnResponsibilities:nnAssess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with neurobehavioral disorders, specifically those with traumatic brain injuries.nnDevelop and implement behavior management plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.nnMonitor and document patient progress, and response to medical interventions.nnAdminister medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.nnProvide education and support to patients and their families regarding the management of neurobehavioral symptoms and coping strategies.nnCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.nnRequirements:nnValid RN license in Massachusetts.nnMinimum 3-5 years of experience in neurobehavioral nursing, preferably with a focus on traumatic brain injury care.nnStrong knowledge of behavior management techniques and interventions.nnPrevious charge nurse or leadership experience requirednnExcellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.nnStrong knowledge of behavior management techniques and interventions.nnExcellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.nnAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.nnExceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Current BLS certification.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnValid RN license in Massachusetts.nnMinimum 3-5 years of experience in neuro behavioral nursing, with a focus on traumatic brain injury and behavioral health.nnWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth.nnIf you are a dedicated RN with a passion for neurobehavioral nursing and a desire to make a difference in the lives of patients with traumatic brain injuries, we would love to hear from you.nnTo apply, please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
