What will I do? As an
LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse working through 5 Star Staffing at one of the Redstone campuses you will be supporting the Redstone mission with the following responsibilities:
- Provides nursing care to residents on the assigned unit.
- Maintain a safe abuse free environment for all residents living in the facility.
- Provide direction related to direct resident care to nursing assistants.
- Immediately reports substandard care or other performance issues to the supervisor.
- Communicates with staff, ancillary departments, and family members to discuss issues related to the resident's condition or care.
- Maintains accurate documentation regarding resident conditions, medications, treatments, and other mandated record.
What do I need for this role? - Current and valid LPN license in PA
Additional Information: - The position will be assigned LPN duties at either Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) or Personal Care Home (PCH) in the Westmoreland County area.
- The base rate is $26.50/hour (no shift requirement)
- Bronze, Silver and Gold program level pay ranges $27.50-33.75/hr.
- The position must work the minimum hours in a four (4) week period master schedule as outlined in the program levels to remain eligible for associated wage rate in that level.
- Orientation must be initiated within two (2) weeks and completed within six (6) weeks of the employment date.
- Minimum of sixteen (16) hours of orientation at the preferred campus to pick-up shifts.
