- Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Responsibilities -
Provide direct invasive and non-invasive cardiopulmonary exams and procedures.
Administer, monitor and record medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians including, but not limited to, setting up and maintaining patient ventilation, and performing arterial blood gas procedures.
Set up, maintain and monitor equipment and notifies designated management of malfunctions.
- Attend professional meetings and maintains credentials and/or licensure.
- Participate in the development and review of policies and procedures.
- Take ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.

Cooperate & interact with superiors, peers, other departments, & all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service".
Qualifications Job Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Program. Related experience may be substituted for related education
- Current NM Respiratory Care License
- BLS
- RRT
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in related field
- One (1) year of related experience
- AARC Membership
- National Specialty Certification
- PALS, NRP, or ACLS may be required by facility/department
