Overview The dialysis attendant provides patient transport to and from the dialysis department via wheelchair or bed. The dialysis attendant works under the direction of the RN. The responsibilities of the dialysis attendant include providing direct patient care and maintaining patient care standards. Must demonstrate the ability to work with people from diverse socio-economic backgrounds; to organize, set and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Qualifications Education: HS/GED required. Must have completed a certified nursing assistant training program or the Huntsville Hospital's Patient Care Aide course.
Experience: Dialysis attendant experience desired.
