Summary:
The PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) RN provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly, and is also individualized to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse. The PACU RN incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our mission, vision and values into nursing practice at Good Samaritan Medical Center.
Education: Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Graduate of an approved School of nursing
Experience: Requires 1-2 years previous PACU RN experience or 1-2 years previous critical care unit RN Experience
Certification/Licensure: Currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
Software/Hardware: Meditech
