Job Overview:
We are seeking ahighly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner Family to join ourteam. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a critical role inproviding high-quality, evidence-based care to our patients. You willbe responsible for managing a diverse range of patient cases,including wellness exams, acute and chronic illnesses, and preventivecare. Responsibilities:
- Conductcomprehensive health assessments, including physical exams, medicalhistory review, and diagnostic testing.
- Diagnose and treatacute and chronic illnesses, such as infections, injuries, anddiabetes.
- Prescribemedication and develop treatment plans in accordance withevidence-based guidelines.
- Provide counselingand education to patients and their families on disease management,preventive care, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Collaborate withphysicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care forpatients.
- Perform minormedical procedures, such as suturing, wound care, and administeringinjections.
- Document patientcare accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records.
- Educate patientson medication adherence and potential side effects.
- Monitor patients'progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate inquality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery ofhigh-quality care.
Requirements:
- Current and validNurse Practitioner license in the state of CA
- Master's degree in nursing
- Minimum of 2 yearsof experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a Family Practice setting.
- Current DEA andBLS certifications.
- Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to workindependently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong criticalthinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge ofelectronic medical records and experience with documentation.
- Passion forproviding compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Ability tomaintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
