Responsibilities: Research Program: The successful applicant is expected to develop and maintain a strong, extramurally funded research program; publish data-driven manuscripts in high-impact journals to disseminate research findings; speak at national and international research conferences; effectively mentor trainees and faculty members; and/or serve in leadership roles for governmental and professional organizations. These accomplishments should lead to invitations to participate as visiting professor at other institutions; invitations to prepare book chapters and books; and internal and external honors. Clinical responsibilities: We seek an Emergency Medicine physician to deliver patient care at DEM clinical sites. The University Hospital is a regional referral center and the emergency department (ED) cares for the highest acuity and most complex patients.
