Req ID: RQ189738nnType of Requisition: RegularnnClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: NonennPublic Trust/Other Required: NonennJob Family: Subcontracts AdministrationnnSkills:nnContract Management,Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR),Government Contracts,Negotiation,SubcontractingnnExperience:nn8 + years of related experiencennJob Description:nnApply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Subcontracts Administrator Advisor at GDIT.nnOur work depends on Subcontracts Administrator Advisor joining our team to provide support with related work to the subcontract life cycle (but not limited to) Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Subcontract Negotiation, Purchase Orders and Closeout.nnHOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:nnDevelops, negotiates and administers assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and proceduresnnActively participates in the capture process which includes pricing and scheduling strategy, communicating with the subcontractor teammates regarding data calls assessing the responses received, and coordinating communications between subcontract stakeholdersnnEnsures timely processing of subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing as well as terms and conditions with assistance from management and input from relevant stakeholdersnnCreates and maintains compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements and GDIT policies and proceduresnnProvides advice and interpretation of subcontract requirements and generates reports for stakeholders as requirednnServes as a liaison facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issues, escalating potential issues to managementnnCoordinates with program managers and all matrixed organizations to ensure subcontract requirements are fulfillednnMay provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced subcontract administratorsnnMaintains current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practices and may provide guidance and/or task leadership to less-experienced subcontract administratorsnnInitiates and maintains an extensive network of communication with both internal and external customersnnParticipates in and/or manages special projects as requirednnWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:nnEducation: Bachelors degree. In lieu of degree, 12+ years of related experience in Subcontracts Administration required.nnRequired Experience: 8+ years of related experience in Subcontracts AdministrationnnRequired Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office SuitennRequired Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS. Effective administrative and organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to operate and negotiate independently. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
