Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and implementing nursing care in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing their skills to assess, plan, and deliver individualized patient care. This role also includes responsibilities such as patient teaching, discharge planning, and maintaining a healing environment for patients and their families.
Requirements:
- Earned nursing diploma or degree from an accredited college or university
- State of Tennessee nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit
Workplace Experience:
- Medical Surgical Patient Care Delivery
- Critical Care Patient Care Delivery
- Oncology Patient Care Delivery
Physical Environment:
- Post Surgical unit with patient populations ranging from adolescent to the elderly
Physical Effort:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Able to stand and work for extended periods
- Ability to lift with assistance
