Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for coordinating and implementing nursing care in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing their skills to assess, plan, and deliver individualized patient care. This role also includes responsibilities such as patient teaching, discharge planning, and maintaining a healing environment for patients and their families.

Requirements:

• Earned nursing diploma or degree from an accredited college or university
• State of Tennessee nursing license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Additional certifications may be required based on the specific unit

Workplace Experience:

• Medical Surgical Patient Care Delivery
• Critical Care Patient Care Delivery
• Oncology Patient Care Delivery

Physical Environment:

• Post Surgical unit with patient populations ranging from adolescent to the elderly

Physical Effort:

• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
• Able to stand and work for extended periods
• Ability to lift with assistance
