essential collaborative leaders within our Tri-Dimensional Rehabilitative Approach. They passionately exceed expectations while
integrating new knowledge and innovative strategies toward recovery for those with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological diseases.
This position allows you to experience variety while
keeping your clinical skills sharp . You will make a palpable difference in our residents' lives as you advocate for their medical, therapeutic, and socio-emotional health. As a dedicated and compassionate clinician, you will serve as a role model for the organization working with team members, residents and their family members, providers, and payer sources. You will successfully
teach residents and their families about their injuries and recovery journeys as they develop self-care skills and nursing techniques to move toward wellness and the highest possible level of independence. As a clinical nurse, you have the opportunity to advocate for their needs and confirm that resources and supports are in place upon discharge.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Exhibit strong interpersonal and leadership skills to lead and develop team members
- Willingness to understand, implement, and comply with current State and Federal Regulations
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
- Identify comprehensive care plans based on resident goals and maximum potential
- Participate in the interdisciplinary team process at team conferences and offer input into team decision making
- Display understanding of the admission process from acute care to long-term care
Education / Certification: - Must have current and unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Nebraska (required)
- Must be 18 years or older (required)
- 2 years' experience as a nurse (preferred) and at least one year of experience in resident/patient assessment (preferred)
Vaccination Requirements: Annual flu vaccine is required during flu season. If needed, we will provide vaccination at QLI, free of charge.
