The Talent Program Manager – SVP Pipeline role leads the design, development, implementation, continuous improvement, and sustainability of Talent Programs aimed at identifying and accelerating the development of high-performing, high-potential leaders at the SVP level across the firm. This job plays a critical role in shaping the future leadership pipeline of the firm in alignment with its business objectives, via cohort-based leadership journeys accompanied by individual level development guidance and support.

Responsibilities:

    Oversees ongoing management of Talent Programs which includes:

    n

  • n

    End to End Project Planning: identifies, documents, validates, and communicates steps, timelines, logistics, stakeholder maps, and tagging of roles and responsibilities.

    Ensuring Accountability: tracks and follows up on project activities, mobilizing timely stakeholder efforts to completion

    Program Representation: in-takes stakeholder questions/requests and relays these to the right team members for having these addressed; continually presents on their respective programs to various stakeholder forums

    Lead the design and execution of comprehensive talent development programs tailored to addressing the development opportunities of consistently high-performing, high-potential SVP’s, focused on building leadership capabilities as informed by the Talent Programs Architecture (framework describing required capabilities at different levels of seniority) and the Talent Programs Playbook (steps, guidelines, and standards to be used when developing or improving a program)

    Partners with Talent Programs Practice Lead (senior expert in content design and development) and senior stakeholders to identify SVP level talent priorities, ensuring alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives; all program design work is to be conducted in partnership with the Talent Programs Practice Lead

    Develop and implement nomination and assessment processes to identify program participants, leveraging various sources of talent data; includes ensuring nomination and selection processes provide equitable access across demographic groups

    Engage with DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and Talent partners to ensure program designs are informed by strategic priorities and insights

    Collaborate with internal resources and external vendors to design and deliver targeted development experiences via programmatic cohort-based in-person and virtual activities, including accompanying self-paced development assignments as applicable

    Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through metrics and KPIs, continuously refining strategies to enhance impact and ROI; aligns approach to the Talent Program’s Success Measures Framework which includes program survey measurement and reporting standards

    Provide guidance and support to program participants, addressing their needs directly (as applicable) or connecting them with the right stakeholders; program managers are to be the primary point of contact

    Cultivate relationships with external partners, including academic institutions, industry associations, and leadership development experts, to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends.

    Builds, tracks, and reports on all program-related budgets, ensuring efficient and responsible use of funds for each Talent Program cycle

    With the engagement of respective support partners, enables vendor management and procurement processes, surveys, analytics and reporting, and organizational communications

    Prepare and present ongoing presentations to all involved stakeholder groups, including senior leadership, highlighting program outcomes, participant progress, and areas for improvement

Qualifications:

    n

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Learning Systems, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a related field; Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, ADDIE for Instructional Design Certification, CPLP, APTD, etc.) preferred

    Extensive experience (7+ years) in talent management, leadership development, and/or organizational development preferably within the financial services industry or a similarly complex organization

    Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing successful talent development programs for executive-level leaders

    Strong understanding of leadership competencies, succession readiness acceleration principles, and talent assessment methodologies

    Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple geographies and functions

    Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

    Strong budget management skills, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, and optimizing resources
